There's apparently a "Youtube Audio Library" that has a bunch of songs available for use in anything, as long as it's not distributed unchanged. That's their wording. So, seems that it's basically opensource beats? They call it "royalty-free production music and sound effects" that is "copyright-safe" although I'm having trouble finding the actual license but I'll update it in the comments if I find it. It looks like the big "catch" is that if you monetize your video you can't use their music UNLESS you're part of some special program that's hard to get into.... so it could be a trap so you can't make money off your music, so be careful with this stuff, but I was suprised how good some of it sounded anyways. Make sure you find out the specific license of the music you're going to use, they have various licensing.

Here's a few good songs I saw used in some stupid auto-generated review video of Amazon products with a bunch of product links in the description. I was curious how a stupid auto-generated video had such good music so I dug a little deeper and this is what I found! I think it'd be an ironic twist to use this music to rap about the dangers of A.I. and the consolidation of media and corporate power by using the corporate opensource beats as a medium ;}

How mindfulness changes the emotional life of our brains | Richard J. Davidson | TEDxSanFrancisco

"Why is it that some people are more vulnerable to life's slings and arrows and others more resilient?" In this eye-opening talk, Richard Davidson discusses how mindfulness can improve well-being and outlines strategies to boost four components of a healthy mind: awareness, connection, insight, and purpose.

Richard Davidson is researching how mindfulness changes the emotional life of our brains and what we know about people's brains of individuals showing more resilience than others. Davidson is Wiliam James and Vilas professor of psychology and psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as founder and director of the Center for Healthy Minds. His research is focused on the neural bases of emotion and emotional style and methods to promote human flourishing, including meditation and related contemplative practices. #Neuroscience💬 #Wellbeing💬 #MentalHealth💬 Richard Davidson is Research Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry and Founder & Director of the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin-Madison.Davidson’s research is focused on the neural bases of emotion and emotional style and methods to promote human flourishing including meditation and related contemplative practices. "The 5 Filters of the Mass Media Machine"

This is a great short video summarizing what Noam Chompsky called the "5 filters" in his book "Manufacturing Consent".

It describes how the mass media industry is fundamentally and inherently manipulated to perpetuate a filtered view of reality through the influence of:

1. Ownership
2. Advertising
3. the Media Elite
4. Flak
5. "the Common Enemy"

“We’re riddled with pointless talk, insane quantities of words and images. Stupidity’s never blind or mute. So it’s not a problem of getting people to express themselves but of providing little gaps of solitude and silence in which they might eventually find something to say...what a relief to have nothing to say, the right to say nothing, because only then is there a chance of framing the rare, and ever rarer, thing that might be worth saying.”

How has technology steered our minds?

What have we become?

While technology delivered infinitely powerful tools to augment our minds, that same technology slowly became ubiquitous, addictive, and inescapable. As we became dependent on it, the companies who depended on selling it to us became dependent on ways to monetize our attention. Our technologies evolved into digital slot machines, pandering to our base emotions, grasping for our attention and refusing to let go.

The very technology which showed such promise to free our minds had evolved into a tool of our enslavement.

It's time to take back our attention.

WARNING: This video does plug an expensive product, but the way it describes the history of our enslavement to our devices is extremely well done.

This helps determine screen size. Useful when purchasing devices that only give the diagonal screen measurement and resolution. This way you can find the exact width and height in inches.
https://www.omnicalculator.com/other/screen-size

It can actually calculate any of these numbers using any two of them to find the rest of the numbers: resolution, diagonal screen measurement, screen width, and screen height. And, also, #fskynet💬
